Variation would be like differences between two things (like a variation in two animals’ features). An adaptation is basically a feature to make things easier in a specific environment.

    Variations simply means changes – specifically genetic changes. Adaptations are those variations that better equip an organism for survival in its habitat.

    All the living things we see today are products of variation and continual adaptation. Some variations may cause a creature to perish. Other variations survive by being passed on genetically to offspring. These surviving variations become adaptations.
