but the young black girl is seeking advice from her mother who has never had a stable relationship in her life.

same reason any woman would seek advice from their mom you troll

she probably wants to know what to do and not to do in their relationship, so that she doesn’t end up like her mother, but that’s just a thought from me

  3. unstoppable

because maybe after all of the statistical failure relationships, she’s learned something.

  4. bonnijar

because your mother is your mother no matter what and kids have a way of not seeing their parents shortcomings. why does your son come to you?

Maybe because she has no one else to turn to, if her mother is a single mother than she doesn’t have anyone else in her life (a female role model) that she can confide it. Plus, your parents are your first example of relationships.

Depending how old your son & his gf are, if she’s younger it makes sense she’d talk to her mom or her friends for advice. It might not logically make sense, but if she’s young she won’t realize that her mother isn’t the best with relationships
